The heating device (6) of the press has an injector (6a) which extends centrally into the stroke chamber (2a) of the piston (4) so as to guide the latter centrally. The plastics bottle (1) is placed upside down so that its opening (1a) rests on the piston and over the heating outlet. The injector can be an electric heating filament or a hot air blower.
