The exhaust gas feedback system for an internal combustion engine, particularly for automotive application, has a cylinder flange extending in the longitudinal direction of the engine, covering over inlet channels, with an air distributor via air pipes in the longitudinal direction of the flange. At one end of the cylinder flange is an exhaust gas- and water channel. The exhaust gas channel via a common wall area with the water channel is in heat-exchanging connection with the latter and has an exhaust gas-conducting connection with the air distributor. The exhaust gas feedback valve (13) is located upstream of a cooling section (14) running in the direction of the air distributor (4), in which the exhaust gas channel (7) is connected with the water channel (8) in a heat-conducting manner and runs out to the air distributor against the union connection (6).
