The ground conveyor is for hydraulic hose conduits, which can be wound from a rotatable hose drum which is tensionable against the unwinding direction by a return spring. The hose drum (12) is provided with a spring box (17) effectively connected with the return spring, which is operable independently of a rotation of the hose drum. The return spring is tensionable by operation of the spring box and by blocking the spring box by a pressure spring (19) and stop pawl (20) can be brought into engagement with the hose drum. It can be brought out of engagement by release of the pressure spring and stop pawl.
