The method involves automatically associating the sampled values acquired during the series of measurements with a model curve determined by a mathematical model, determining and evaluating the sampled values relevant to the analysis depending on this association and determining the end of the measurements. Independent claims are also included for: (1) an arrangement for automated online analysis of series of measurements; (2) a computer program product for automated online analysis of series of measurements; and (3) a computer-readable storage medium for a computer program.
