A signal path splits into two branches (3,4) through a filter bank at a junction near an analyzing bank (1). The branches re-unite near a synthesizing bank (2). Each branch has an analyzing filter (5) and a synthesizing filter (16). The synthesizing bank has a combining device (6) for combining signals for the individual branches. Between the junction and the combining device there is data link between one branch and another branch. An Independent claim is also included for a device for optical scanning with detectors.
