A pipe bending tool has a rigid tubular insert with a spherical end onto which is mounted the socket end of a spherical bending head, with swivel adjustment. The bending head is secured onto the tool via a belt. The head of the bolt is gripped by a ball and socket mounting inside the tubular insert and is secured by a nut on the outer end. The interaction of the ball spherical profiles provides a smooth bending profile on the inner part of the bend to prevent the formation of bore restrictions and folds. The end of the tool has a groove to hold lubricant.
