The method involves measuring accumulator current, voltage and temperature, comparing with those for an equivalent circuit, varying equivalent circuit component parameters to get a match and drawing load capacity conclusions from the variations. The equivalent circuit input voltage is corrected for measured battery voltage using a function with only current, voltage and temperature as variables and a logarithmic current dependency nonlinear term.
