The medium further flows up between the inner wall of the housing and the outer wall of the guide pipe via a heat exchanger (18), via an opening in the upper region of the pipe into the inner chamber of the pipe, then via an opening in the lower region of the pipe into a further intermediate chamber between the inner wall of the housing and the outer wall of the guide pipe, and finally into the upper region of the intermediate chamber between contact tubes. Preferred Features: The pump is a propeller pump having three or more blades. The housing is rectangular or circular.
