Fiber glass contains (in wt.%) 42-56 SiO2, 10.6-22 Al2O3, 8-14 B2O3, 8-13 Na2O3, 1-4 K2O3, 1-5 CaO, 0.1-6 BaO, 2-6 ZnO, and 0-1 F. Preferred Features: The glass additionally contains up to 2 wt.% TiO2. The glass has a hydrolytic resistance of 0.13-0.15 ml 0.01 NHCl/g, a difference region of the processing temperature of DELTA T = 740-850 deg C at a viscosity of 1g epsilon 7.6-1g epsilon 2.
