The device has a series circuit of a finite impulse response filter (FIR) and an infinite impulse response filter (IIR), whereby the parameters of the finite impulse response filter are essentially tuned to the blocking properties at the blocking frequency and those of the infinite impulse response filter are essentially tuned to the low pass properties.
