The method involves using the multi-tone signal to compute a number of filter coefficients of notch filter models corresponding to the number of frequencies (w1,w2). The filter coefficients are computed so that the output power is minimal when the multi-tone signal passes through a combination of notch filter models defined by the filter coefficients. AN Independent claim is also included for a device for measuring frequencies and amplitudes of multi-tone signals.
