Device for checking the correct operation of a large number of electrical loads, whereby each load has its own identifying transponder. Accordingly an electrical current is applied to each load and only if the current will flow through the load can the transponder be successfully interrogated by a central analysis unit. Thus a number of loads can be tested and any not operating quickly identified. The invention also relates to a corresponding testing method.
