The parking brake consists of a pivotably mounted brake lever (5) that can be operated by an external force such as a hydraulic, pneumatic and/or electromagnet force. A spring element (7) in the form of an over dead center spring is associated with the brake lever in order to support the pivoting movement and locking of the brake lever in its current pivot position.
