The multi-way tap comprises a T-shaped casing (1), in which a rotatable hemispherical valve (3) is mounted, at 450 to the liquid channels. This has a bore which can be aligned with the channel along the top stroke of the T, so that liquid flows continuously along it, or to form a right angled channel, so that liquid can be drawn off, or to seal all three channels.
