The cutter consists of at least one two-part, circular turn-table (3) which has a cutting-gap (8) and is flush with the surface of the table-top (1) over the entire width of which it extends. Inset into the top part of the turntable are air-nozzles (4) or rollers or balls for conveying the panel-shaped constructional elements (18). Above and below the turntable is a guide-girder along which a carriage (13,14) moves to and fro.
