The method involves carrying out a rotation angle-controlled tightening procedure for a coupling (4). At least one final tightening torque is recorded for this coupling. In the event of further machining a selected coupling is undone and re-made using a tightening torque corresponding to the final torque associated with this coupling for mass production or to the mean of several final torques for successive coupling in mass production. AN Independent claim is also included for a system for mass production of threaded couplings, e.g. for motor vehicles.
