The method involves using nuclear spin resonance, whereby a position-selective preparation is subjected to magnetization in a preparation zone (7) and to a measurement at an offset time in a measurement zone (8). The transition region between the preparation zone and the measurement zone has a structure (5,6) that increases the surface area. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: an arrangement for implementing the method.
