Sensor has bridge circuit (1) the diagonal voltage of which is used to determine a measurement value. A switch array (2) is provided to change the bridge circuit between measurement and test modes. The test mode changes the arrangements of bridge resistors (R1-R4) relative to each other. When the bridge is in test mode, the diagonal voltage is insensitive to changes in the measurement value.
