Motor vehicle navigation device with which a journey path from a start to an end point can be calculated. The actual position of the vehicle is determined using a locating device associated with the navigation system and is calculated by activation of an operating element (8, 5, 6, 19). A newly calculated and stored position can be entered as a journey target into the navigation device by renewed activation of one of the operating elements.
