The valve has a valve element arrangement with an intermediate piston in the region between a second piston and a smaller diameter valve closure element. The intermediate piston end facing the closure element and a first piston's end facing a piezoelectric actuator unit bound on a system pressure region. A transition region between the second and intermediate pistons is arranged in a region with lower pressure than in the system pressure region. The valve has a valve element arrangement (5) with an intermediate piston (17) in the region between a second piston (9) and a valve closure element (10) with a smaller diameter than the second piston. The end of the intermediate piston facing the closure element and the end of a first piston (8) facing a piezoelectric actuator unit (4) bound on a system pressure region (14) and a transition region between the second piston and the intermediate piston is arranged in a region with lower pressure than in the system pressure region.
