Optical device has collimation optical element (2) acting in a coordinate direction perpendicular to coordinate direction of common plane of active layers of laser diode device (1) and light homogenizing element (3) with pair of opposing reflective side faces. Adjacent reflection planes (E1,..E4) are provided between reflective side faces, through which laser beam passes in succession, with multiple reflection from reflective side faces.
