The contact carrier (1) has a plastics body (2) with pivot bearing pins (5,6) on either side allowing the on-off switching movement under control of a mechanical drive shaft (7) coupled to the contact carrier body via a coupling lever (8). The latter can be secured to the contact carrier body in different positions relative to the position of the bearing pins.
