Controlled reconstruction method for bone and suitable drilling template in the shape of membrane constructed from model of the actual jaw bone condition

A three dimensional image of the actual condition, e.g. of the lower jaw bone is taken by computer tomography. A three dimensional model of it can be constructed by Rapid Prototyping. Using CAD, the required condition of, e.g. the alveolar comb (9) is established on a model of the actual condition, which includes the position of implants. A membrane (130) is then matched to this model showing the peaks (110) and valleys (112).
