During data transmission in a downstream direction (DL) to a mobile terminal (MT), data (Data1,Data2) to be transferred is handed on in parallel to multiple data memory stores (P-RM1,P-RM2) in a data transmission system. Prior to handover (HO) data is transferred from a first data store (P-RM-DB1) to the MT and also to the MT from a second data store (P-RM-DB2) after handover. Independent claims are also included for a data transmission system with multiple transmitter-receiver devices and relaying devices for data exchange with mobile terminals/telephones and for a mobile terminal for such data exchange.
