A motor is connected through gearing to an actuator operating the valve (E). A timer signals a microprocessor to stop the motor, when the valve is open. Following a set interval the actuator starts gas filling. The actuator is then returned to its original position, to close the valve. On return a gas outlet valve is opened by a component forming part of the actuator.
