The thermal sensor (15) at the injection jet (1) of an injection mold, for a plastics injection molding machine, has a sensor tube (17) and a monitor (19) at the leading end. A connecting cable carries the monitored temperature values. A mounting (23) secures the sensor tube in a drilling (9) at the jet. The mounting is a spring (24), passing only partially around the injection jet, and which slides on the sensor tube. The spring has two curved sections (25), with ratchet locks (31) at their free ends, and are linked together by a trapezoid intermediate piece (27).
