Drawing device comprises two interacting pulling chains (2, 3) which are driven by synchronously running chain wheels (4, 5). Pulling elements (6) are arranged on the chains and have an opening (9) on the side facing the material (7) to be drawn. A removal element (10) made from elastic material is detachedly arranged in the opening. Preferred Features: The opening is formed as a groove in the pulling elements. The removal element has a groove-shaped profile on its side facing the material to be drawn.
