The appliance has additional heat exchanger (5), with two flow chambers for air flows. In the first chamber (5a), cold air from the refrigeration unit for the cargo hold flows in a downward direction, while in the second chamber (5b), warm air to be cooled from the driver's cab, flows in the opposite direction. The heat exchanger consists of neighboring connected extrusion profile elements of a material with good heat conductivity, pref. aluminum. The flow channels are separated by a dividing wall, and each chamber contains intermediate walls to improve heat conductivity.
