Liquid-cooled mold comprises: a vertically arranged mold body having coolant channels (12) at a distance from the inner wall delimiting the re-melting chamber; and a lid (11) fixed to the outer wall of the mold. The outer wall of the mold and/or the lid have recesses which form the coolant channels. Preferred Features: The lids are detachedly connected with the mold, preferably using screws. The recesses are groove-like cut-outs and are arranged so that the coolant channels run in a meandering manner or are U-shaped.
