The beam shoe (10) has a horizontal base plate (20) with the side of this plate facing the main girder (14) having at least one projection which is level with the base plate and can be bent down and knocked into the main girder. The projection projects out from the narrow side of the base plate facing the main girder and preferably tapers towards it free end. The projections have an ideal bending or break point at their join with the base plate.
