An adhesive film (20) with an opening (22) of specified size and shape similar to that of a trough (12) in cartridge (10), is placed between the inkjet print head chip (2) and the printer cartridge. The chip is bonded with the cartridge through the adhesive film by applying pressure, baking or hot pressing.
