Modular arch system for constructing an arched ceiling (21) comprises several prefabricated arch modules (4) and at least one bridging arch module (5) for attaching between at least two arch modules without using support columns. An Independent claim is also included for an arched ceiling constructed from arch modules of the above system. Preferred Features: The system consists of arch modules having a different span width and radius of curvature. The arch modules are made of concrete, especially fiber-reinforced concrete, preferably plastic-, glass- and/or steel-fiber-reinforced concrete.
