The connection is esp. a metal corrugated hose (10) with bellows corrugations (12). A heat conductor pipe (20) is positioned on at least one end (26), and is formed, so that a pre-selected number of corrugations at this end are protected against heat damage caused by exhaust gas (18) flowing through the pipe connection. The corrugations are enclosed by a braided sleeve (14), and an inner pipe connection wall is formed by a liner (16).
