Flat printing method in which a print forme is moistened with a separate wetting agent and then colored with printing ink, before pressing onto a print medium. According to the method application of the wetting agent involves generation of a negative magnetic image on the surface of the print forme (1) that is then developed using magnetic wetting agent.
