The lining has a lining element (1) with aperture (2), containing a sliding actuator element (3). The actuator element is fixed in assembly position, and is detachable relative to the lining element. It is at least partially cylindrical and has a coupling device to form an connection with a door lock unit. The lining element has a guide unit (20) for the actuator element, which is locked to it when in assembly position, e.g. via friction clamping, welding, or adhesive. The actuator element slides along an axis (A) and is pretensioned in that direction by a spring.
