The system for watering house plants comprises a tube (1) with water inlets (2b), behind which fiber plugs (2f) are mounted. A perforated paper sheet (1c, 1d, 1e) is attached to the pipe and is wound around the plant. The lower end of the tube carries a spike (1a) with a water outlet, which is inserted into the soil in the pot. An insert (3a) connects the pipe and the spike. Inserts with different internal bores can be used to regulate the water flow.
