The method involves illuminating at least one mini-cup (1) on a print form (2) to be measured and determining its dimensions by forming an image of the mini-cup on a measurement device (4). At least one light beam is generated and a wall surface of the min-cup illuminated at an angle selected so that as much light as possible is reflected towards the measurement device in the direction of its optical axis (5). AN Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for measuring mini-cups for print form engraving.
