Computerized method for writing minutes or logs of a workflow management system (WFMS), has the following steps: assignment of a number of log messages as potential targets for log recording; assignment of a log message distribution strategy; and for an actual log recording, dynamic analysis of the assignment strategy to determine an actual log target, followed by recording of the log message. The invention also relates to a corresponding data processing system and computer program product.
