An arrangement of data in a three-dimensional data-space which has been generated by means of the results of a flexible configurable combination of data extracted and processed from heterogeneous data holding systems. The data corresponding to a configuration data file for each of the three axes of the data directly read from the data holding system as a data triplet forming the lowest common multiple are filed as the bottom-most plane of an evaluation in the working store of a computer. The axis-specific compressed data triplet filed in another region of the working store represent the result of the hierarchical combination corresponding to the specifications from the configuration data file of the axis-related data.
