An air conditioning plane has a coolant circuit (2) with coolant compressor (3), an ambient air heat exchanger (4) to remove heat from the coolant, an expansion valve (5), and an evaporator (6). The heat exchanger and/or the evaporator has an associated coolant/liquid heat exchanger (7). This permits heat exchange between the coolant and an operating fluid, e.g. transmission/hydraulic/lubricant oil of the engine according. to demand, esp. after a cold start of the engine. The heat exchanger is integrated via a valve unit (8) into the coolant circuit between compressor and first heat exchanger.
