A switched surface-wave filter (SWF) has a central interdigitated transducer (IDT) input transducer (E) having an overlap weighting with which an excitation function can be realized, in which the excitation function has an axis-symmetrical and point-symmetrical component whose over-lappings add together in the input transducer and switches for switching over between a symmetrical and a non-symmetrical circuit connection of the two output transducers. An Independent claim is given for application of a filter.
