A highpressure spray (1) for deepcooled gas is used to clean e.g. metal, plastics, wood, glass or ceramic etc objects assisted by pressuriser specifically a highpressure pump (6) and cleaning nozzle (10). The nozzle (10) diameter ranges from 1.5-2 mm and the pump operates in the range 500-1000 bar. Particles of deepcooled medium can be admixed to gas jet and the cleaning jet is directed onto the object by means of directional nozzle (11).
