A tubular mixer housing (1) comprises two parts (2, 3) and contains a rotary mounted driven mixer shaft (7) which has in the mixer area of the housing two types of alternating stirrer segments (21, 22) with agitator vanes on their outer circumference whilst other segment elements (20) act as spacers. The mixer shaft is mounted by means of two rotary bearings (3a,9) with one mounted in the region of the component inlet (13) provided on the lower housing part (2). This rotary bearing consists of a bearing shell which is fixedly connected to the inside wall of the lower housing part and of a medium disc (15) fixed on a counter bearing of the mixer shaft and with its rotary axis aligned with the longitudinal axis of the mixer shaft.
