Method for production of mask-programmed ROMs, using a mask containing several systems, whereby encryption using the mask is carried out in such a way that the systems so produced have different keys. Said keys are contained in ROM fuses. Independent claims are made for a processor arrangement for controlling production of mask-programmed ROMs, a computer program product and a computer readable storage medium for storage of the program product.
