A container (12) in the form of a plate with a holder surface holds samples of the surfaces being tested and swivels on a horizontal axis (11) in the form of a shaft. The container is mounted in a vertical bearing-plate(9) on which is an angle-measurer. Separate drops of liquid are applied to the surfaces from a drip (6) which can be vertically and or horizontally adjusted in position.
