Anchors (2) are fixed in the concrete surface (1) of the drain prior to applying the coating material (7). These anchors are evenly distributed over the concrete surface. The drain is cleared of any corrosive material (e.g. hydrogen sulphide), then dried and then coated. An Independent claim is also included for the anchor.
