The vibrating floor (1) has a floor plate coupled to at least one electromechanical vibration unit (3). The control unit (18) is coupled to an amplifier (12) for an acoustically reproduced sound signal for driving the vibrating floor. The amplifier can be controlled to set the control signal for the vibrating floor independently of the volume control for the sound signal.
