In each belt ply (4, 5) parallel steel cords (7, 8) include angles (alpha, beta) with the circumferential direction, in the range 15 degrees - 25 degrees. Cords in the first ply, cross those in the second. The outer layer (4) is narrower in width than the inner (5). Cords of the outer layer include a smaller angle with the circumferential direction, than those of the inner layer.
