The tool head has a fixed spindle bearing housing (1) and a relatively rotating spindle (2), an interchangable modular attachment (4) fitted to the spindle or a holder for receiving the machining tool (8) and an internal cooling medium feed (7,7'), for direct feed of the cooling medium from the spindle bearing housing or an associated auxiliary housing (5). The cooling medium feed extends sidewards relative to the interchangable modular attachment.
