The rigid front portion of the car roof (11) swings from its operative position, connected to the top of the windscreen (29) to a rearward stowed position on a pair of parallel links (12,13). A folding framework (4,15-20) has connections to the bodywork near the rear of the car and there are links (37) to the rear rigid portion of the roof (14).
